As required under the United States Federal Trade Commission’s “Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Rules,” the Investment Manager (“we” or “us”) is providing this notice to Investors (“you”) in the Fund in order to inform you of the Investment Manager’s privacy policies and practices with respect to your personal, nonpublic information. The Investment Manager respects the right to privacy of Investors in the Fund. However, to manage the Fund in a professional and efficient manner, the Investment Manager must from time to time obtain and disclose certain nonpublic information about Investors. To protect the confidentiality of each Investors’ information while making the necessary disclosures, the Investment Manager has developed the security policies described below.
The Investment Manager and its Affiliates may collect two different types of information about you: information you provide to us, and information we collect through technology.
You may have to provide information that we collect and store in a way that allows us to relate it to you personally, including but not limited to your name, social security number, financial information, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, facsimile number and the type of investor you are (e.g. individual, analyst, broker). We refer to such information as personally identifiable information. Additionally, we may collect and retain a record of all communications with you.
We may collect information about you through technology. For example, we may collect your IP address each time you request a page during a visit to our investor portal or website (the “Site”). At times, we may also use IP addresses to collect information regarding the frequency with which users browse various parts of the Site.
The Site may also use other technical methods to track and analyze the traffic patterns on the Site, such as the frequency with which our users visit various parts of the Site. These technical methods may involve the transmission of information either directly to us or to another party authorized by us to collect information on our behalf.
We may provide your personal information to our affiliates and to firms that assist us in servicing your account and have a need for such information, such as a broker, counterparty, fund administrator or third party service provider that aggregates data in a central repository for access by a broker, counterparty or fund administrator to provide its services. These sharing practices are consistent with applicable privacy and related laws, and in general, you may not limit our use of your personal information for these purposes under such laws.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the revised policy here.
